The system allows businesses to post information on the Delta Chamber website about spare space, skills or time and to network with other businesses and organizations which may be interested in buying, leasing or borrowing any of those resources. This opportunity is now supported by a multi-disciplinary research team of six students, three from Business, two from Information Technology and one from Human Resources. The team will conduct a feasibility study to determine the degree of support for, and the features which would need to be incorporated into an online facility provided by the Delta Chamber of Commerce. Fred Mandl, of the BCIT Business faculty, who is overseeing this research project says: “It’s a ‘win-win’ situation for both our students in their final semester at the School of Business and for an employer, in this case the Delta Chamber. Mission: The British Columbia Dragoons is a Reserve Armoured Regiment based in Kelowna and Vernon, British Columbia.
