Patrick Gray, B.Tech – He has also spent the last 20+ years developing concepts, product designs and prototypes. In 2009 he became the protégée of Fred Mandl. Patrick is a creative problem solver with a background in IT, (Software Development), Human Resources, and with a business background. Since 1997 he has been involved with two different start-up corporations. In his capacity as CEO, Patrick was involved in their strategic planning, business planning, risk management, project development, product design, and research & development. He also worked as an architectural model painter followed by the role of a 2-D animator, designer and project manager. He has also had some experience with prototype development.Patrick’s educational background reflects his diverse interests. Highlights include Digital Art & Design from Thompson Rivers University, Bachelor of Technology in Technology Management from BCIT, HR Post Diploma from BCIT where he graduated with distinction, general studies from Okanagan University College. This is complemented by a variety of other courses such as Marketing, Auto CAD, Drafting, Auto-Refinishing, Auto-Repair, welding, Injection Moulding, Make-up artistry and basic robotics. In the 1990’s he worked for London Drugs, Canadian Tire, Toys R Us and Canadian Two for One Pizza while attending school. Mr. Gray also served as a reserve member of the British Columbia Dragoons, (Canadian Armour Regiment). In 1994 he received the Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award, presented by Prince Philip, in recognition of skills, service, physical recreation, expeditions and explorations completed.
