I have worked in residential Real Estate for the past 10 years doing the following: Real Estate short-term investments: I know what it takes to rehab a home for profit as I have performed major remodels (hands-on) of single Family homes, townhomes and condos. I can offer this experience and knowledge to my clients when a decision has to be made as to whether or not a property would be a good candidate for this type of investment. Property management: I have managed multiple properties in South Florida and can provide very good insights of what is involved in this part of the business. Home inspection: I was certified by AHIT (American Home Inspection Training institute) in 2004. I also owned and operated a home inspection business (Clearcut Home inspection.LLC) for many years. My experience and knowledge in this field is without a doubt a crucial advantage to my investors as I am more likely to spot red flags while physically evaluating properties than most Real Estate agents who have not received this type of training. It also allows my clients to get a better picture of the deal right from the start before investing precious time and money negotiating offers or tying up deposits on properties which may have major issues. It is important to note, however, that my property evaluations are not home inspections. As a Realtor®, I cannot legally perform home inspections for my clients (conflict of interest issues) and therefore will recommend that you have them done by a qualified Home Inspector.
