• Program Launch and Design - Represented EcoWorks in the design and launch of the region’s first comprehensive water assistance program, the Water Residential Assistance Program (WRAP). • Home Repairs – Created and coordinated the home education and repair portion of the program, including repair visits by EcoWorks water auditors and plumbing subcontractors. Trained staff in water auditing and minor plumbing repairs. Coordinated closely with social service agencies.• Effective outcomes - 2,240 home water audits and plumbing repairs completed, average annual savings of $420 per home.• Client buy-in – Meeting clients in crisis mode with respect, empathy, strong communication, and clear expectations led to client survey ratings of 4.97 on a scale of 1-5 for overall satisfaction with the visit, and with ratings of 4.98 out of a scale of 1-5 for likelihood to recommend EcoWorks to a friend.• Advocate for systematic solutions – Gained support of the program’s funders, the Great Lakes Water Authority and DWSD, to engage the University of Michigan’s Poverty Solutions researchers to help interview clients and highlight their experience.
