Supervises movement control operations and personnel within assigned area of responsibility (AOR), including ground transportation missions and/or air transportation in theater. Ensures operational effectiveness; coordinates movement schedules and activity with company, client personnel and military operations. Ensures that department provides required levels of service in an effective, efficient and timely manner. Supports effective delivery of functional planning, operational execution, compliance and mission support services. Coordinates personnel requirements and transport schedules with functional and project management; communicates status updates and change requests as required.Supervises a team of personnel responsible for reviewing scheduled movement and tracking ongoing activity to ensure that personnel movement supports operational requirements.

Inspect and handle all cargo needing special handling, validate load plans, cargo cleanliness and transportation documentation, ensuring the accurate upload, sequence, pallet condition, and overall air worthiness of cargo and orientation to match the load plan. Provides concurrent inspections with Customs agents for cargo returning to the United States.

Administers, plans, organizes, directs, monitors, controls and coordinates the logistical support of the Aerial Port Squadron. Reviews, analyzes and issues directives and procedural instructions received from higher authority. Study and coordinate efforts to advance asset tracking, material handling, and supply initiatives in a multidiscipline international environment. Make formal and informal presentations to all levels of management.

Plans and organizes traffic management activities, receives and packages items for shipment or storage, prepares budget estimates for materials and equipment, and inspects items for identity, quantity, and condition. Certifies hazardous cargo to be moved by surface and air, advise on procurement and distribution, and ensure convoy, hazardous, or over-sized permits are required before movement.
