I’m the Executive Director for Major Projects and member of the Executive team at Swedish Transportation Administration. I manage a portfolio of +30 infrastructure mega projects in Rail, Road and Ports with a portfolio value of +45 billion EUR. The portfolio covers all phases of project delivery, from feasibility study to construction phase. My career in engineering consulting, building services and construction spans over 25 years including prior executive management positions at Nitro Consult & Orica, WSP, Bravida, Siemens and Skanska. Business Management: Throughout my career, I have held management roles with increasing P&L responsibility for a number of divisions and geographic regions at WSP, Bravida, Grontmij (Sweco), Siemens and Skanska. I take a keen interest in recruiting and developing talent in order to scale the businesses I run.Performance Acceleration: At Nitro Consult we improved EBIT from 3% to 18% and eNPS from -22 to 59 in 12 months through a client centric and employee empowering approach. At WSP, we increased turnover and improved profitability by 20% on an annual basis by winning key accounts, outsourcing work packages to WSPs Competence Resource Center in India. At Bravida, we increased the region’s turnover by 50% over three years while doubling profitability. This was done by winning major projects and driving efficiency throughout the organization. At Siemens, I established retail as a new industry vertical and won major accounts including Axfood, ICA and Pressbyrån. Innovation Leadership: I am passionate about applying new technology to achieve differentiation in the market as well as to generate cost savings. The engineering consulting services and civil construction industry is poised for disruption and I am driving innovation initiatives together with leading players in Silicon Valley focused on business process automation, artificial intelligence / machine learning and augmented reality / virtual reality.I hold an engineering degree in Construction Management from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm, Sweden and I have completed three semesters of fulltime study in business administration at Stockholm University.
