About Patrick Hagan

My name is Patrick Hagan, and I am currently a Graduate Student in the Cosford Lab at Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Institue. My project studies the role of autophagy and ULK1/2 in cancer therapy resistance and involves developing and testing inhibitors to improve treatment outcomes. This, in combination with my Undergraduate Research Apprenticeship in the Fleiszig- Evans Laboratory at UC Berekeley and my years researching cancer genetics and treatments at UCSF in the Ashworth Lab has allowed me to train in my areas of interest: cancer biology, molecular research, and translational biology.
