Air Cargo Facilities Manager
Current-Providing operational oversight and management for all airport air cargo facilities, both on and off the airfield, including airfreight cargo buildings and airfield cargo facilities, cargo aircraft hardstands, ground service equipment use areas, maintenance and storage areas, and other cargo airfield activity areas associated with the airport’s commercial use facility. -Responsible for ensuring satisfactory conditions and functionality of airfield cargo facilities, including condition assessments, safety and security, tenant/user interaction and support, coordination of maintenance, repair, upgrades and other facility’s needs. -Liaisons with and directs Aviation Properties department staff regarding facility leasing and property management issues, planning and implementation of airport cargo facility infrastructure improvements and capital investment development while works collaboratively with the Air Cargo Operations Manager on issues where operations and facility management overlap. -Provides project management support and engagement with appropriate stakeholders to develop scope, schedule, and budget of airport air cargo/commercial facilities development, portfolio and further lease revenue and expense budgets with estimated annual revenues of over $16 million-Sponsors cargo facility capital investment requests through management and/or commission approval while communicating with senior leadership regarding strategic objectives, projects and initiatives to support regional air cargo logistics growth while recommending policy and direction to leadership and implementing approved directives and decisions. -Provide air cargo facilities outreach and relations with current and potential customers to support space needs and requests, while responding and resolving potential conflicting facilities uses and/or operational issues during seasonal, periodic, or ad-hoc events or initiatives.
