As Lead Growth Engineer at Botpress, I lead a team of two software engineers. We own the developer experience, solving user problems through code, documentation, and video. You can catch me twice a week on our daily Discord livestream. We work closely with Product to fix bugs, add features, and ensure developers are supported and satisfied through our developer relations (DevRel) efforts. Our projects focus on user acquisition, customer value, and optimizing product and user analytics, as well as improving go-to-market (GTM) efficiency. Lastly, as a subject matter expert for marketing, I provide insights into product, competition, and market trends.

At Lotusfire, I built and scaled the entire product from the ground up, leveraging machine learning and natural language processing to create a mobile app that turned texts into actionable tools for language acquisition. I conducted in-depth user research, including in-person interviews guided by the 'Mom Test' framework, to refine the product's fit.I led every aspect of product management, from analytics to roadmap execution, and successfully delivered a revenue-generating product. Before that, I iterated through multiple product ideas, including a hardware prototype that integrated video games to enhance language learning—technology I continue to use today. Achieved four-figure recurring annual revenue by consistently delivering value to our users.

Built and then oversaw the software tech stack for a hard Tech Startup making phone protection technologies. Set up software, project management, and data teams from scratch, using these units to execute projects linked to our store, analytics, sales pipelines, logistics, and manufacturing. Personally outreached and recruited 15 employees. During this time, we scaled revenue and employee count by 10X, paving the way for the startup's rapid growth. Oversaw our e-commerce website operations whilst building our own ERP to streamline product, sales, stock keeping and manufacturing operations. Executed projects like the first CoD with 7-Eleven + FamilyMart on Shopify in Taiwan. Facilitated large scale production of user-personalised phone case designs through e-commerce orders.Introduced international payment platforms, resulting in significant cost savings. Negotiated a five figure dollars price reduction with a provider.Launched a 5-star Shopify app, the top in fulfilment. Responsible for a low-code SaaS for advanced order management for international stores. Provided technical oversight for a consumer product range, including mini-figurines, its e-commerce platform, and manufacturing.

Synthesized complex technical data and communicated findings effectively in Mandarin to R&D team. Managed technical and legal translations between English and Chinese, aiding communication with the parent company in Taiwan. Assisted in recruitment processes at competitive job fairs and represented the firm at international exhibitions.
