-On-site management for large complex energy and water reduction projects from pre-booking to customer acceptance.-Supervises and directs installation, start-up, and commissioning.-Utilizes expertise in HVAC & building automation to assist in development of energy audits. -Commissions BAS to propose repairs and upgrades to optimize building equipment operation.

• Attends pre-booking and sales-to-operations turnover meetings to evaluate the accuracy of sales estimate and job layout.• Reviews plans, specifications, and contract to determine project requirements.• Designs, plans, and handles start-up functions on selected control systems based on project plans, specifications, and contract documents.• Prepares submittals containing schematics, descriptions and technical literature for the approval of the owner's representative or as required.• Obtains submittal approval and prepares as built drawings.• Troubleshoots possible issues including identifying and debugging software, electrical or pneumatic and installation problems.• Selects product sizes, types, and location placement to ensure products meet specification requirements.• Prepares database and job related programming for computer-based systems.• Prepares and justifies engineering re-estimate reports.• Provides on-site assistance with or performs the installation and start-up, checkout and turnover process.• Participates in job site final walk-through on assigned jobs and completes all job closeout documentation.

• Works with engineering group to create and/or verify point database for HVAC control system.• Reviews/modifies job specific programming via computer for various systems.• Verifies point database and programming are consistent with scope of work for integration and sequence.• Sets up and configuration of PC workstations, user interfaces; data servers, IP Networking devices, protocols, routers, switches, mass storage devices and hubs. Confirms proper network performance.• Provides support for the scheduling of trade contractors to coordinate start up services as needed; participates in the coordination of network drops, IP addresses and monitoring tools with customer's IT Department personnel; works with equipment vendors to coordinate communication protocols, encryption, and database requirements for integration to their systems.• Runs semi-complex reports to analyze system operation, works with customer to demonstrate system operation and verify consistency with the contracted scope of work.• Participates in final inspection and testing; assures customer acceptance; trains customers on system operations. • Completes and submits routine written reports; provides Plans & Control System Documents to engineering for as-built drawings.• Mentors other specialists who may need specific automation product knowledge.

Develop programming code necessary to meet design sequence requirements. End to end testing of components associated with the control system installation as well as system commissioning. Direct subcontract electrical and mechanical labor for the installation of component associated with the system.Knowledge of HVAC mechanical systems and application of controls operations. Knowledge of IP protocol and application to the control system for integration to customer LAN.
