Patrick is currently CEO of NovaSphere, a Canadian non-profit with the mission to engage with stakeholders and create solutions to climate change and sustainability. He’s currently managing a multi-year, multi-million-dollar projects for Environment and Climate Change Canada.Patrick is also the co-founder of ClimateCHECK (sustainability consulting firm), Collaborase and ScribeHub (online collaboration platforms), Xpansiv (digital commodities platform, which merged with CBL Markets) and the Greenhouse Gas Management Institute (GHGMI).Over the last 25 years Patrick has completed over 250 deep-dive GHG evaluations of innovative cleantech technologies and companies and was the leading GHG expert for the Standards Council of Canada.Patrick’s main accomplishment in the sustainability field include:• Standards Council of Canada’s GHG Lead Auditor and Technical Expert with over 100 GHG assessments performed against ISO 14065• Clean Technology and Carbon Neutral Product Due Diligence - Performed over 250 cleantech GHG assessment according to ISO 14064 and GHG Protocol• QA/QC and harmonization of the ACT Methodologies under the ACT Initiative• Managed a multi-million-dollar project for ECCC - Climate Finance Support to Address Short-Lived Climate Pollutant (SLCP) Emissions in the Pacific Alliance and West Africa• Development of GHG Quantification Protocols in the waste sector for Chile and development of pilot blockchain MRV project on landfill in Chile• GHG Inventory and Management Systems Design and Auditing• GHG Program Design, Management and Auditing• GHG Emission Reduction Project Protocol Development and Auditing• Major Contributor to the ISO 14064 GHG Project Standard • Contributor to WRI/WBCSD GHG Project Protocol
