I am a undergrad student at the University of North Texas, majoring in finance. I look forward to working in the finance industry because I want to be able to help people with their finances if they are having trouble with it or be able to help a business that might not have the best finance plan to help them succeed. I look forward to gaining more knowledge about how I will be able to do this in the classes that I take and in possible opportunities that I get in internships to make this come possible.Past job experiences will help with communicating with clients or with other people in general. The past year I have been working at HEB in Custom service where I have learned to communicate with customers so I know how to help them to the best of my ability is. Before that I was a lifeguard, in which I learned public safety measures and how to take quick action to help a person or to save them from dangerous circumstances. I have also done concession stand where I learn how to hand money and again how to communicate with customers. I can take these lessons I have learned from my previous experiences and apply them to help me succeed in school and help me succeed in the industry.My experiences in playing basketball will help me a lot. I have learned a lot from my experiences in playing basketball since I was young. I have learned to work hard and you will succeed in what you want to do. I have also learned leadership skills and teamwork skills when playing basketball since it is a team sport you have to work together to get to that goal that everyone is striving for. I know my experience in basketball will help me grow and succeed in this industry.
