Mr. Hartz led projects given by the managers and executives, trained new employees on store procedures, register, and customer service, managed groups of up to 25 employees, helped the managers with monitoring the store's inventory being received, stored, and sold, and assisted in marketing initiatives.

Mr. Hartz completed data analysis on various newspaper articles, journals, and interview transcripts regarding the history of two main terrorist cells, Al Muhajiroun and the Irish Republican Army. He mainly dealt with large excel databases, data mining key words including people, organizations, events, locations, and other information relating to the respective terrorist cell.

Mr. Hartz led incoming soldiers on learning necessary skills and values that are applied in the Army way of life prior to them leaving for Basic Combat Training. He developed leadership skills that were practiced every drill weekend and practiced the Army values that were instilled during his military training. He was part of an Infantry company in Altoona, Pa.
