Carter Jonas is a professional country wide services company. My role as IT Manager was to provide ICT support to all divisions and central services. My roles and responsibilities included:•Creating and implementing ICT business strategies in conjunction with the divisional boardsas well as reporting to the CEO and Management Board•Managing of the ICT department•Managing of IT and software application training•Negotiating all ICT contracts for leasing, hardware and software purchasing and Microsoft licensing•Negotiating all telecoms contracts including private (MPLS) circuits, broadband services, landline telephone contracts and service agreements for the telephony switches •Negotiating all mobile services and handset equipment including the provision of BES server services for 350 professional staff and the service level agreements•Managing and liaising with third party suppliers, contractors and project management teams•Merger and acquisitions •Budgeting Key Achievements•I was instrumental in the implementation and development of ICT infrastructure and corporate server services over a 12 year. Continuingly augmenting and improve the businesses ICT over this period of time, which supported and allowed the firm to grow from £10m to its current £33m turnover.•I orchestrated and managed in terms of ICT, a merger with a similarly sized firm, incorporating a further 15 offices and 250 staff to the business•I managed the development of a on premise WEB based project to facilitate a time and billing management system with the additional ability to manage expenses and disbursements which integrated with the firms Navision accounts system and delivered an expected billing increase and expenses recovery of £200k in the first year.•I implemented the outsourcing of the printer and photocopier services to a third party, whilst applying a printer management system to control print and stationary costs within the firm. Saving circa £35k in printing costs.
