Assisting the project manager and head engineer to oversee and coordinate the electrical and control side of $60 million McCain regeneration project at the Ballarat site.Liaising with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure finished pieces of equipment meet sites requirements and corporate standards.Working with Tradesmen/contractors to ensure deadlines and budgets are met.Dealing with local and overseas contractors to ensure works are done safely, efficiently and to specification.Writing/Designing specifications for manufacturers to follow.

Key duties includedWorking as part of the multi-discipline maintenance team to ensure reliability and availability of equipment keeping production downtime to a minimum.Performing both preventative and breakdown maintenance on various parts of the production line.Complete extensive on-site technical training conducted by McCain Process Control Technician.Participating in and coordinating installation and upgrade works during annual shutdown periods.Working alongside McCain Process Control Technician to design, install and commission electrical, instrumentation, control and automation upgrades and projects.Exposure to a broad range of equipment and processes eg. Refrigeration plant, heat exchangers, boilers, waste treatment plant, ventilation and various other pieces of process equipment.
