I produced and delivered winning proposals by interpreting RFP requirements, interviewing subject matter experts as needed, and writing toward MERC's strengths.I presented MERC’s software capabilities to tour groups, conveying our expertise and capabilities by targeting the audience’s interests and technical aptitude. In the same vein, I assisted engineers and executives with the development of their presentations to customers and VIPs.I also coordinated with MERC’s software engineers, designing and mocking up interfaces for our products. During development, I manually tested software and present developers with usability findings and bug reports. As software matures, I implemented automated user interface tests (Selenium, C#) to aid regression testing. For delivery, I developed documentation and training to aid our users’ engagement and understanding of the product. In a particularly fun project, I researched the state of wearable augmented reality devices, eventually developing prototype augmented reality interfaces. In that contract, I conducted and documented in-house and on-location formative usability tests to guide our team’s development effort.

I managed the week-to-week operations of the publication. I ensured that all technical and logistical issues were solved so that everyone had the opportunity to meet deadline.

I oversaw the design of the print edition of the publication by ensuring visual consistency, clarity, and conciseness.
