Coordinating and controlling all aspects of cargo operation overseeing all operational activities. Monitor the quantity and quality of work performance; directing personnel within assigned functional areas; overseeing and advising on staffing requirements; participating in the discipline, coaching, counseling, hiring and termination of subordinates; training subordinates, ensures compliance with Company rules and regulations, Company standards and contractual agreements; ensures budgetary controls and manning requirements. Proactively monitors the work of assigned employees to ensure that customer satisfaction, safety, security, quality and employee relations meet or exceed standards. Maintain and control all required aspects of the operation in accordance with the corporate security program and TSA legislation. Ensure that the required company audit requirements are undertaken to ensure continuity and compliance at all times. Read, understand and clarify the implementation of the site specific security plan and ensure that all WFS staff is issued with a relevant company ID and that they are required to display this identity badge. Ensure they administer practices in a fair and equitable manner, where all employees, customers, vendors and other third parties are treated with respect. Responsible for cargo warehousing, including receiving, dispatching and staging air mail and other cargo at cargo facility; operating motorized vehicles as related to the operation; routine cleaning of work areas, ramps, equipment and facilities with or without powered equipment.
