Kaplan Business School is a globally recognised provider of higher education degrees in Australia and offer undergraduate and postgraduate courses in business, accounting, marketing, management, tourism, entrepreneurship, health services, digital management, analytics, project management and leadership.Position Overview:Senior Regional Manager in student recruitment covering the Americas, Europe, Central Asia, the Middle East & Africa. Overseeing a team of three, my role was essential to the continued growth in student numbers, which Kaplan Business School saw from these regions, through working with education agencies, government bodies, partner institutes and direct students. Strong collaborations with colleagues and clients took place to deliver campaigns to increase awareness and the reputation of Kaplan Business School around the globe. My role also included being an integral part to the expansion of Kaplan Business School's higher education course offerings as well in undertaking due diligence to open a new campus. I traveled to Africa three times a year and to Europe once each year to build new partnerships, maintain existing partnerships and meet potential students.

Position Overview:Regional Sales Manager for Central and Eastern Europe to Kaplan English schools worldwide. BDM for Europe, Middle East and Africa for Kaplan Australia – English schools and Higher Education Pathways Institutes.Client base made up of Language Travel Agents who require constant relationship management and development to ensure maximum yield.Client commission structures, target incentives and marketing support were all managed whilst keeping to budget.Bi-annual trips to Europe to meet with counterparts in UK HQ alongside visiting clients in mainland Europe for face to face meetings to build rapport. They boast a 95% student employment average within the first 6 months after graduation and have approximately 17,000 students studying across the country. Position Overview:Responsible for dealing with enrolments, payments for assessments, programme infrastructure, certification and staff training.Liaised at every level with colleagues and students.Implemented procedures in order to make the administration of courses more efficient and user friendly for future employees.Produced monthly course statistics that were used in monthly departmental meetings.Regular minutes taker at departmental meetings.

Les Deux Alpes & Tignes, France

Position Overview:Oversaw and instrumented the running of a Chalet in the French Alps..Worked as part a pair to make sure guests were fed 4 meals a day and the Chalet was kept clean.Responsible for ordering fresh and dry produce to service to the guests.Responsible for looking after up to 24 guests at a time.Basic understanding of the French language was necessary.

Aspect Education was a worldwide chain of English language schools. Before being bought by Kaplan Inc. in 2006, Aspect was a fast growing global player in the international education sector. The company regularly made acquisitions of established English language providers around the world which were re-branded and added to their portfolio. The company’s worldwide sales and customer service office was originally in Bournemouth, UK but then an in-country destination structure was adopted with the Bournemouth office closing and offices opening in London, Vancouver and Santa Barbara. Position Overview:Initially based in Bournemouth, UK before moving to Santa Barbara California in March ‘03.Employed in a customer service role servicing clients from Asia who enrolled students to Aspect English schools in the USA and Canada.Due to my position and on recommendation from senior management, I was requested to relocate to Santa Barbara, California to help set up the new USA Sales Office so that there would be minimum disruption to clients.Processing of student enrolments, course changes and visa documentation on a daily basis with high priority given to 24 hour turnaround times due to clients being in different time zones.
