I am a registered patent attorney and Certified Licensing Professional (CLP) with over 15 years of legal experience that helps me communicate effective business solutions for seizing opportunities and mitigating risks. I have an electrical engineering degree with power meter industry experience and particular technical expertise in electronics, computer software and business methods, telecommunications, medical devices, and mechanical arts. In helping clients build their international patent portfolios, I leverage patent examiner histories and art unit analytics to maximize patent quality and to minimize cost and time-to-issuance.I regularly speak to industry groups on emerging technologies and related legal implications, and I have procured well over 100 issued U.S. patents for financial institution clients, in varying high-tech fields, such as augmented reality, artificial intelligence, blockchain implementations, and network security. I have also prosecuted to issuance many patents that are integral to my clients’ achieving and maintaining strategic advantages over their competitors.
