When VTFE was established in the marketplace, and with strong growth, the focus of my role shifted strategically to managing the Operation. It saw a focus on linehaul, shipping, and network Intially, managed moving depots and focused on improving even further our delivery standard through technology, to achieve a DIFOT that was leading in the marketplace..

Co- founder of VTFE and initially managed the start up of the business for Sales and Operations. Managed the growth in Sales and Operations for the first 2 years, seeing major growth in Sales, Operations, Fleet and Network to establish VTFE as a viable transport option in the marketplace.

Role involved full P & L responsibility for the site, as well as overseeing 300 staff, drivers and casual labour hire. The site was chosen by Toll, as the its site that was to be audited, to gain self insurance. This process, in conjunction with worksafe, insurance companies, and the auditors, took 6 months to achieve the outcome that the Toll Group were.

Responsibilities included Managing the Operational site, including over 150 vehicles, staff and processing 35k items nightly, to achieve excellence in cost and DIFOT. Oversaw the implementation of the site becoming fully electronic, as well as increasing the capacity of the shed by 50% by operational optimization.

Managed the Transport Operation from 4 sites nationally as well as managed despatch from the Melbourne D.C. Implemented many changes to improve service as well as reducing costs significantly to L’Oreal.

Managed strategic major accounts based interstate, including the process of linehaul, sortation and successful delivery. I also had a portfolio of Melbourne based major accounts, as well as a sales budget that was achieved year on year.

Managed a fleet of 25 vehicles and 8 staff, as well as the cross docking facility of 100s of pallets daily, that were delivered to Melbourne’s major DC’s daily. Also oversaw the storage facility with over 1000 pallets being stored at one time. Along with this role, continued to account manage a portfolio of 30 clients.

Had a portfolio of over 100 clients, and successfully grew the portfolio on the existing revenue base. Also had a sales budget, which was exceeded year on year.
