The Cashier Lead is a position in the store to drive transaction based metrics as well as customer service. With my experience in this position of about 4 years the level of responsibility has grown. I not only coach and monitor cashiers, but all associates who may ring our customers up, or as we like to call them, our members. In short, metrics that I drive our having our customers apply for and/or use one or more of multiple Sears Credit Cards, enroll in our Loyalty program called Shop Your Way Rewards, sell protection agreements and Sears Purchase Protect plans. I drive my associates performance by giving them knowledge and confidence, this keeps our team always in the hunt for 1st place in any company competition.

In this position I would go into the stands or be placed on the rotunda to sell our team's merchandise. I would shout out different phrases and sayings to capture an audience to sell to. I would consistently exceed my sales goal, which wasn't always easy as some merchandise cost more than the tickets to the game itself, so I sold them on the experience and keep sakes.
