Starting from site visits, identifying needed equipment, supplier selection, equipment supplier communication and detail design enginneering of the system, up to globally aligning with local authorities (NoBo clarifications) and on site integration.Furthermore, identifying fleet issues and analyzing & performing and supporting of root cause analysis studies.Supporting clients in resolving operational issues.

Support of the Steam Turbine fleet, regarding Operation, Inspection, Overhauls and ModificationAlong with on-site assessments and engineering support.

Commissioning of steam turbines. Scope of work ranged from short service assignments, inspections, retrofits, upgrades up to full commissioning of new power plants. The latter includes turbines for conventional with various additional scopes (e.g. BOP, condenser, LP-bypass) and a combined-cycle plant.For most of the plants I was "Lead-Responsible" for the turbo group, which included scheduling, manpower coordination and onsite training with the customer and of course the main task of hands-on commissioning itself.
