Recently-ish started working for Flatfish, lots to take in and lots to go at - just my kind of job really.

My wife and I took seventeen months out in order to go backpacking in South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand saw some of the modern wonders of the world, did some volunteer work including spell with a company called All Hands - which I would recommend to anyone, met some of the best people ever and did some crazy stuff too - jumped from planes, hiked the glaciers, swam with dolphins and whale sharks and dived some beautiful places.

A results orientated manager with the country's largest integrated duck processor. My career started at Cherry Valley in NPD, progressing innovative ideas through all stages to launch including organising factory trials and the writing of production documents including specifications. The role expanded then to include process and equipment developments. Designed process measurement systems to better understand production efficiency and ensure delivery targets were met also sourced new equipment to replace older systems. Worked with both internal and external engineering companies to design bespoke engineering solutions tailored to the company's very specific manufacturing requirements. When there was a reduced emphasis on the company's capital spend, asked to take over the company's purchasing function and then successfully made savings in a number of key areas including waste management.
