Hello! I am Patrick Hutson, a Computer Science Graduate from University. Throughout my studies, I have gained a solid foundation in languages like Java, Python, C/C++, Javascript, Typescript, HTML, CSS, and SQL. As well as deep understanding in data structures, , algorithms, and software development methodologies. Some other technical skills I've gained through coursework are:- Agile methods and principles used everyday in development, from small group projects to enterprise applications- Web development and database management, through various courses to utilize languages like HTML, CSS, Javascript and finally SQL.- Version control systems like Git, uploading to Github and Bitbucket to maintain remote repositories for projects.I've had the privilege to work on a couple of projects throughout my studies: - Balin: A task based build system for C/C++ environments created to streamline dependency management and development in those ecosystems- Android projects that utilize the vast network of API's and tools in the android suite to create apps that bring all these features together.I am seeking opportunities in software development, transitioning from academia to the professional word utilizing my skills to tackle real software challenges.
