Our philosophy is that "Every-body is different".As Chartered Physiotherapissts we thrive on helping people return to their pre-injury activities, whether that be cooking, gardening, mountain climbing or playing sport at an elite level. We always aim to get to the root of the issue rather than treating the current symptoms - this reduces the chances of the pain and injury recurring. We treat the person as a whole - looking at the work environment, hobbies and activities that they enjoy - including these activities in a rehabilitation program. We often find that our approach to referred pain allows us to help people who have not been able to find relief at other clinics. In contrast to many other physiotherapists, we usually use a "hands-on" approach to treatment, in conjunction with exercises and self-management advice and get very frustrated when people have been sent away from other physios with nothing but a sheet of exercises - sometimes with no assessment or explanation how to complete the exercises safely and correctly.Specialties: Pain management, referred pain, functional conditioning, proprioceptive rehab, sports injuries, catastrophic injury rehabilitation, neuro-rehabilitation, community physiotherapy, core stability training.
