I am responsible for advocacy (including lobbying, campaign organizing, content creation, etc.) and policy relating to pension matters (though I have also worked on veterans, health and seniors issues). I have been responsible for communications and event organizing related activities. I am currently a member of the Technical Working Group which serves the Public Service Pension Advisory Committee. I write a regular column in Sage Magazine providing insight and advice into pension related matters.

Outreach Officer responsible for Northern Ontario and the Arctic in the Office of the Leader of the Official Opposition. Took part in communications, community outreach, event planning and logistics.

I was elected three times, to three different positions in the executive, to one year terms. As Finance Commissioner, I was responsible for the organisations financial decisions, taxes, accounting, pay and benefits. The organisation had a million dollar budget, eight employees and numerous other financial responsibilities (a cafe/bar, two grant programs, and a health and dental plan).As External Commissioner, I was responsible for the political activities of the Association. I represented the Association to groups outside the university, including lobbying at all government levels. I was also responsible for the organisation's communications (social media and traditional media). As University Affairs Commissioner, I was responsible for student representation on numerous university boards as well as the organisation of the annual Graduate Student Conference.

I taught and marked papers for a class on social movements and an introduction to sociology.

The National Graduate Caucus of the CFS represented over 50 000 graduate students in dozens of universities across Canada. The Caucus provides a forum for the exchange of information and ideas between graduate students and member local associations in order to promote the interests of graduate students to the provincial government and other external authorities whose jurisdiction affects graduate student affairs.

Sudbury

Elected as a School Board Trustee on the french public school board for the greater northern region of Ontario.

Laurentian University

I was elected as the vice president of the GSA-AÉÉS at Laurentian University for two years. I helped bring in a dental and health care program, rebranded the association (logo, materials, website, etc.) and took part in several lobbying sessions with every level of government (federal, provincial, municipal and university).

Sudbury

I worked for various professors in political science and sociology. I was responsible for interviews, data entry, data collection, writing article summaries, and many other tasks.

Laurentian University

I was elected for one year as the vice-president of the francophone students' association (Laurentian University has both an english and a french student union). The year before I was elected as the student association representative on the university's senate. Within these capacities, I organized numerous events including frosh week and large concerts, took part in lobbying sessions with all levels of government, took part in negotiations for a student universal bus pass, as well as negotiations for the architectural plans of a new student recreational center.
