I am an emergency medicine physician leader dedicated to operational and quality improvements that advance departmental efficiency while enhancing the ability of clinicians to provide exceptional patient care. My current administrative role in a community emergency department along with completing a physician MBA program has allowed me to better define, analyze, and improve operational excellence initiatives. I am currently conducting a multidisciplinary project in a tertiary referral emergency department aimed at improving length of stay, door to provider, and patient satisfaction metrics. This project aims to better understand our population of multi-visit patients and integrate them into the health network, hopefully decreasing their need for emergent care.
