Distinguished thirty one year career in government and law enforcement includes service at the highest echelon of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and its Homeland Security Investigations Directorate (HSI). Held enterprise-wide responsibility for developing, implementing, and managing national and international security programs and complex domestic and international investigations leading to the dismantling of transnational criminal organizations (TCOs) and improved protection of national security. Currently Acting Deputy Director of DHS - Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), one of the world’s premier security and law enforcement organizations. Held responsibility for more than 20,000 employees including over 7,000 investigators in 400 offices across 53 countries. Over 400 special agents are assigned to embassies and consulates protecting national security around the world.
