About Patrick J. Mulcahey

I am a passionate and experienced researcher whose interests lie at the intersection of experimental neuroscience, technological innovation, and clinical impact. My aspiration is to be a physician scientist whose scientific work directly impacts the lives of patients with neurological disorders. Currently, I am a third year M.D./Ph.D. candidate at Duke University School of Medicine working in the lab of Z. Josh Huang, PhD. Before coming to Duke, I graduated with an M.S.E. in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania as a 2020 National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow in Engineering. Before Penn, I graduated summa cum laude from Georgetown University as a member of Phi Beta Kappa and a 2018 Barry M. Goldwater Scholar.
