I am an economist at the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), specializing in transfer pricing. I was homeschooled until I started university. In May 2014, I graduated from Carleton University with a Bachelor's of Science with Honours in Mathematics and Physics, and in May 2016, I completed a Master's of Arts in Economics, also at Carleton University. In June 2024, I completed a Bachelor's of Arts with a Major in Political Science and a Minor in Law at Carleton University. As a teenager I spent six years as an army cadet with 2951 RCACC, finishing in the senior leadership position among cadets in the unit as the Regimental Sergeant Major. In 2015, I joined the Primary Reserve as a Signals Officer at 33 Signal Regiment. In order to become fully trained for this role, I completed 28 weeks of full-time training. I am currently a Squadron Operations Officer at the unit.After graduating and while between military courses, I did an additional term as full-time non-degree student, and another term as a part-time student. As a result, I have graduate-level training in a wide range of areas of economics beyond the core Master’s-level material, including public finance, public policy, environmental policy, innovation policy, econometrics, cost–benefit analysis, and the international monetary system. In fall 2017, I spent three months as an economist at GAC, where I helped develop a framework for creating a database to support future departmental research efforts on the impact of the digital economy on international trade. As of winter 2018, I am an economist at the CRA, where I provide support to auditors on economic issues related to transfer pricing. I have also developed a java-based game in my spare time. It went live in 2013, and was last updated in 2017. It is available on PC and Mac, and has been downloaded more than 10,000 times.
