Founded drivesection.com in 2019 as the new home for my in-depth and creatively-presented new and classic car reviews. The site's content has also expanded to include travel, opinion, automotive tech, and news content. Other writers and photographers have also contributed to and been published on the site.

With technology forcing the journalism industry into a state of change, I believe it's important to stay ahead of the curve which has led me to investigating the fields of virtual reality and now artificial intelligence. This freelance role includes prompting/training generative AI large language models and evaluating their responses.

In this remote position, I contributed to all content categories on the site including writing sponsored content, editing the work of freelancers and other full-time staff, interviewing talent for feature articles, and managing the site alone (including as a stand-in for the Editor) for extended periods during UAE public holidays.

I began with SCB in a freelance capacity, contributing news articles covering subjects including cars, watches, technology, and lifestyle.

Covered automotive news for finder.com.au, focusing on the Australian new car market. I also contributed new vehicle reviews and comparison guides, and news features with in-depth interviews.

This role involved producing in-depth and heavily-researched buyer's guides for used vehicles targeting the US market, including varying coverage of both specific issues with, and all-encompassing views of the vehicles in question. In the latter half of my time with Vehicle History, I also assisted with proofreading and editing other freelancers' articles.

Contributor to the DriveTribe and FoodTribe websites, covering news stories and producing affiliate and sponsored promotional content. My own vehicle reviews and feature articles are also syndicated through the DriveTribe platform, and by extension the Apple News app.
