1. Establish presence at the Angat and Ipo Dam by working with NPC (via Korean-Water) and the Common Purpose Facilities in the efficient management, planning and organization of the Division.a. Compliance with the provision of the Water Protocol on dam operation2. Implementation of dam operations programs and policiesb. Implementation of flood control programsc. Recording of all hydrological and meteorological datad. Efficiency of all installed flow metering devicese. Revision/ updating of Standard Operating Procedures of all plant equipment and auxiliaries3. Represents MWSS in decision-making and/or meetings:a. Water releases from Angat Dam together with NPC, PSALM and NIAb. Meetings with government agencies such as, but not limited to, NWRB, PAG-ASA and NDRRMCc. Execution of Corrective Maintenance Work Order d. Implementation of Plant and Dam equipment annual preventive maintenance and testing

Control and supervision over the business or affairs of the Society and shall have such powers and authorities as herein provided by these By-Laws or as expressly conferred upon it by statutes of the Philippines. 1. To make and change rules and regulations provided these are not inconsistent with these Constitution and By-Laws or the policies of the Society. 2. Appoint or designate personnel as it may deem fit or necessary for carrying out the business and affairs of the Society as well as define their duties, responsibilities and compensation. 3. Plan, organize, direct, coordinate and control the annual activities of the Society.4. Approve (or) ratify expenditures or proposed expenses by the officers or any member of the Board. 5. Decide on disciplinary actions to be bestowed on members.6. Accept sponsorship funds and donations from members and non-members

Design & Build of Bigte To Novaliches Aqueduct No. 7 (BNAQ-7) Project, an Official Development Assistance (ODA) project under the Build-Build-Build Program (Infrastructure Flagship Project) of the Philippine government, funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), through the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS). This 15kilometers aqueducts project is part of the re-engineering works for the entire Ipo-La Mesa raw water transmission system in order to ensure continuous and adequate flow of raw water consistent with the MWSS’ objective of water security and reliability. This will also provide operational flexibility to the raw water transmission system when any of the existing aqueducts will require maintenance or repair. Thus, the importance and urgency of this Project, being one of our measures to convey our raw water allocation from Angat Dam and Reservoir in Norzagaray Bulacan down to the La Mesa Portal in Novaliches Quezon City and deliver raw water for treatment to the water treatment plants of Maynilad and Manila Water and supply potable water to the whole Metro Manila, Rizal, Cavite and Bulacan Provinces.
