After successfully graduating with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from Stellenbosch University, South Africa, in 2011 I began my career as a Site Engineer within the Roads and Earthworks business unit of Stefanutti Stocks. In 2011 and 2012, I was an integral part of the successful delivery of a number of Earthworks driven mine infrastructure contracts within Southern Africa. In 2013, I moved to Mozambique where I assisted the Stefanutti Stocks Senior Management team with the expansion of business operations into Mozambique, during which time I travelled the country providing remote assistance to the estimating department as well as forging business relations for future project opportunities. In 2014 I moved back to South Africa, where I was entrusted with managing the finishing works contract on the new build Kusile Coal Fired Power Station, which consisted of the construction of new site roads, installation of in ground stormwater and other services, and the construction of reinforced concrete bridges and culverts.In 2015 I moved to the United Kingdom where I joined Bam Nuttall as a Sub Agent based at the new build Hinkley Point C Nuclear Power Station in Somerset. In 2017 I was promoted to Site Agent within the Hinkley Point C Deep Dig Bulk and Detailed Earthworks delivery team, where I successfully managed the coordination, planning and delivery of approximately 2.8million cubic metres of bulk excavation and rock trimming operations with no reportable incidents.In 2019 I moved to Sydney, Australia where I joined Ward Civil and Environmental Engineering as a Project Engineer. In 2020 I was promoted to Senior Project Engineer where I was part of a successful expansion project for Sydney International Airport Corporation. In 2021 I was promoted to Project Manager where I successfully managed the construction of an Enabling Works Bus Interchange for the Sydney Metro Western Sydney Airport St Marys Station Upgrade project.I am currently working for Ward Civil and Environmental Engineering as a Project Manager on the Sydney Road Asset Performance Contract (SRAPC) Parkland Zone, with a primary focus on slope rehabilitation and stabilisation in and around the Blue Mountains.I consistently strive to improve both professionally and personally. I offer an advanced project management skillset by employing sound attention to detail and time management strategies while promoting teamwork and collaboration to improve efficiency and productivity within my delivery team.
