● Directs IT operations and enterprise strategy for Good Samaritan Hospital (440 beds) located in the heart of Silicon Valley, serving as the primary interface between the C-suite and IT operations. Manages 20+ staff including network, server, desktop, system administration, electronic health record and security. ● Manages ticket prioritization, IT projects and vendor relationships in support of enterprise operations and strategic planning.● Oversees IT security for enterprise data and network infrastructure ensuring confidentiality, integrity and availability of systems.

● Led IT Department of 51 dedicated staff (4 direct/47 indirect) supporting 2,500 clinical and business end-users. Oversaw all IT operations and projects for a 220 bed medical center and regional healthcare network.● Directed IT operations encompassing IT security, HL7 integration, biomedical device integration, network, datacenter, electronic medical record, clinical and business applications, help desk, telephone (VoIP), contracts, purchasing, IT projects, and capital planning. ● Reduced cyber vulnerabilities and strengthened overall defense posture through implementation of robust endpoint protection, regular phishing exercises, new network firewall, and enhanced intrusion detection systems. ● Directed project managers and took extreme ownership over critical projects and IT implementations that were essential to the enterprise including cyber resiliency, digital adoption, virtual workflows, telemedicine, accounting, security, clinical IT, electronic medical record, enterprise and network architecture (VoIP, core, layer 1/2/3), datacenter refresh, and PC refresh projects. ● Strategically led the technology lifecycle for IT systems by developing a governance process for IT contracts and aligning it with the 5 year enterprise strategic plan. ● Worked closely with the compliance department and established up to date IT policies and procedures that drove compliance throughout the organization and ensured accordance with HIPAA, SOC 2 and the CURES Act. ● Wrote and implemented policies to ensure organizational compliance around the confidentiality, integrity and availability of IT including business continuity and disaster recovery, password protection, and cyber incident response

● Concept-to-Delivery architect of largest IT project in the history of the County of San Francisco; directed the strategic planning, scoping, contract negotiation and implementation of the Epic electronic health record system spanning 30+ ambulatory clinics, a 400+ bed level one trauma center (San Francisco General Hospital) and a 700 bed long term care facility.● Directed the bio-medical device deployment and integration and stood up a team of two project managers and four analysts to ensure that hemodynamics, diagnostic imaging and echo cardiogram software was successfully upgraded and integrated with biomedical devices and the Epic EHR. ● Directed project managers and analysts to provision test environments, ensure network readiness, established interface connectivity, conduct full software development lifecycle testing, train end users, staff the command center, go-live and develop future state operational support models for all integrated health systems within the hospital and ambulatory clinics (i.e. vital monitoring and radiology imaging) ● Worked closely with UC San Francisco (UCSF) doctors to optimize functional requirements around best-practice clinical workflows for electronic health records.● Negotiated the largest IT contract in the history of the County in addition to 70+ contracts with a total cost of $230 Million, negotiating aggressive timelines and SLAs that ensured expedited go-live and fast response times. ● Evaluated, implemented and oversaw system security and backup procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements and HIPAA compliance.● Developed a support model based on the ServiceNow and IT information library (ITIL) model to triage issues and resolve downtime network problems across the IT department.

Program Manager - System Migration and Data Integration / San Francisco General Hospital Rebuild – 2014 to 2016● Served as IT program manager for the construction of a 400+ bed level one trauma center (San Francisco General) and ensured that all clinical applications went live including the EHR, biomed devices, PACS, lab, and pharmacy.● For 2.5 years led IT teams to successfully conduct network onboarding into data center, configuration of all hospital applications, integrated testing, training, cutover, go-live and transition to operational support for all hospital systems. ● Provided recommendations to senior leadership and carried out executive strategy over nurse informaticists, vendors, network engineers, project managers and analysts over the course of the construction of the hospital.IT Consultant - Associate / Silicon Valley – 2012 to 2013● Excelled in several high profile project manager roles for Silicon Valley customers involving IT systems upgrades and implementations for San Francisco Health Plan, Varian technologies, and Hortonworks.
