Business Group Director for Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam (LAN) Transit Business SectorThe following projects represent a cross section of experience and expertise:• Phase III Build Out; Dallas Area Rapid Transit, Dallas, Texas: Program Manager for providing the oversight on the design and construction of DART’s 19 miles of light-rail infrastructure expansion connects DFW Airport and DART’s rail network to more than 90 miles by 2013. This $840 million program included the Orange Line transit corridor through the City of Irving and expansion of the Blue Line to the City of Rowlett. GEC responsibilities included the assistance in the preparation of DB bridging documents, assessing DB proposals, reviewing DB design submittals, providing design and construction management over-sight services, and providing overall program Quality Assurance review, schedule and cost control.• Silicon Valley BART Extension (SVBX); Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA), San Jose, California: Project Principal for the design and construction support of the $780 million, 10-mile extension of the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) system into Santa Clara County. The extension will connect to the track south of the BART Warm Springs Station and proceed in the former Union Pacific Railroad corridor through Milpitas to the Berryessa District of San Jose, near Las Plumas Avenue. The alignment is a combination of at-grade, open-cut and aerial guideway configurations, and includes a retained-cut passenger station in Milpitas (Milpitas Station) and an above-ground passenger terminus station in San Jose (Berryessa Station).• Capital Metro All Systems Go Long-Range Transit Plan, Austin, Texas: Program Manager on the Program Management Team implementing Capital Metro’s Long-Range Transit Plan, which will expand and enhance transportation options for citizens throughout the Austin area.
