The eCommerce team is a feature development team with the goal of improving and extending functionality of an eCommerce based platform. Roles and responsibilities while a part of this team included: ● Develop an automation framework with the ability to successfully connect with and test the different aspects of the eCommerce platform. [ Java, RestTemplate, Selenium/Webdriver, Appium, TestNG, Allure]● Develop automated test scenarios that verifies system functionality against a wide range of endpoints [APIs, WebBrowsers, Mobile Devices]● Create a test execution & reporting strategy that reliably and automatically executes tests against a pre-production environment to facilitate the ability to release to production daily [Jenkins, Bash, Allure, Splunk]● Gather test Metrics and report the current automation status to project stakeholders at regular intervals [Splunk, Allure, Jira]● Train and develop the technical skills of manual QAs so that they may investigate and assist with future automation failures.● Triage newly created test cases to ensure higher priority components get automated first. ● Collaborate with developers to investigate instances where the system deviates from the expected norm.● Assist with manual test execution during larger release periods.

The team works in an agile fashion with it's members situated in multiple geographical locations. The Central Automation team operates as an agile team following the scrum principles.While a part of this team my primary responsibilities included:* Implementing coded solutions to automate repeatable processes such as package build and delivery* Develop, execute and maintain automated test suites to ensure the product stability of enterprise applications* Collaborating with teams on the technical design of new features as well as its work estimation and implementation* Diagnose problems and troubleshoot issues. Document and report noted bugs. Suggest enhancements/improvements * Training, mentoring and supervising college graduates, ensuring they quickly get up to speed with assigned duties and projects* Heading a Community of Practice, overseeing a forum where different teams meet to discuss issues and solutions within the automated services product

The Feature Consolidation Team resolved high priority product issues affecting customer systems as well as handling customer change requests. The Feature Consolidation Team operates as an agile team following the scrum principles. While a part of this team my primary responsibilities included:* Diagnose problems raised by a support team and identify root causes* Develop, execute and implement coded solutions to customer product issues in a timely manner* Collaborating effectively with colleagues to resolve errors as part of an agile team* Work on a customer site in China, testing the customer system and acting as a point of contact between teammates in Ireland and customer engineers

* Setting up a network monitoring service* Leading a site wide conversion process from XP to Windows 7* Managing a range of devices on the network* Identifying and resolving user IT issues via a helpdesk system
