Work has become more multi-lingual today than arguably any time in history. From the multitude of coding languages to marketing jargon to client feedback. Often, they all have the same goal, only expressed differently. By taking an empathetic approach, I have developed the skills to guide these diverse and complex teams to deliver products that exceed customer expectations on time and on budget. My first experience with growing a product began at DataStream. First introduced as a user of the product, I saw first-hand the potential it had. After joining the team, I set to work. This involved delivering a multitude of products that helped grow the user base by over 800% in less than 3 years. How did I help to achieve this? By focusing on improving the client experience. Using yearly check ins, I grew to know our user base. I saw things through their lens and was able to solve issues as one of them. This allowed for us to deliver features to the user before they even realized they needed them.My goal is to build product that exceeds the user expectation. Taking an empathetic approach while leveraging today’s best practices in data and team management is how I achieve it.
