  I was responsible for traffic enforcement, general patrol, responding to calls for service, surveillance, background investigations and pre-employment screening for prospective city employees. Additionally, I was a field training officer responsible for training new officers to prepare them for solo patrol. Due to the smaller size of the department, I was fortunate enough to be responsible for conducting my own Fraud investigations, interviews, interrogations, and background checks. I was also a member of the Eastlake Police Departments Crime Scene Unit. I have collected evidence at motor vehicle accidents (fatal and non-fatal), fraud cases, arsons, homicides, sex offenses, and other violent crimes.
