Pat Joyce is CEO of Passel Farms, a swine production system of approximately 60,000 sows formed through the consolidation of owned and managed swine industry investments along with the acquisition of Cactus Family farms in May 2024 creating a driving focus and opportunity for a more competitive and integrated production system. Prior to this role, Pat was the President of Standard Nutrition Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Standard Nutrition Company where he was primarily focused on serving independent producers, families and investors within the pork industry working to develop and advance nutrition consulting services, management systems and business consulting services Past experiences include serving as Senior Auditor for Deloitte & Touche from 1996 to 2000 before joining Kerber Milling Company where he served as CFO for 8 years and CEO for 10 years. During his tenure at Kerber Milling, Pat worked to advance the direction for the Hawkeye System, a network of 20,000 sows serving independent producers; formed Ag Property Solutions that is a leading general contractor serving animal agriculture; formed Barnvista that delivers a SAAS solution for compliance and work order management; and developed a risk management reporting platform for producers to integrate the activity and results of margin management strategies with their operations and financial reporting. In 2018, Standard Nutrition Services acquired Kerber Milling Company and Subsidiaries. Originally from Emmetsburg, IA, he and his wife Tina live in Algona, IA today and have four children.
