I really enjoy interacting with people, finding ways that processes can be more efficient and effective. That is one of the main reasons I am attending the University of Phoenix to obtain my Bachelors of Science in Business Management. I also have a heart and a passion for multimedia and social media platforms, and how to use them as a conduit for information too the masses. I have a lot of different experiences from different backgrounds ranging from mechanical skills to management skills.I am currently serving as sergeant in the Washington Army National Guard which I have been apart of for 10+ years. I service in the position of Public Affairs Broadcaster with the 122nd Public Affairs at Camp Murray. I have attended DINFOS (Defense Information School) which gives a in-depth look and practical hands on experience into the world of public affairs. I also worked for the 1106th Theater Aviation Maintenance Group in Fresno, CA. I was with the 1106th for 10 years working as a depot level rotary wing structural maintenance technician. With the 1106th in Afghanistan I served as Sheet Metal Shop Manager. I also served as Safety NCO and Victims Advocate with the 1106th TASMG.I am currently working as a ordnance technician at NUWC Keyport. I evaluate malfunctions, isolate defects, and perform repairs in equipment. I am responsible for assuring that workmanship meets the acceptable quality levels established for the items and equipment serviced, and in-process work may be subject to spot check by Quality Control personnel. I am responsible for the safe operation of tools and equipment used and may be required to provide technical assistance to lower graded repairers or perform repairs at remote user locations. As I have stated previously I have a vast box of tools to pull from when engaging in new projects or processes. I am actively looking to become full time in either a public relations/affairs position or a project manager.
