The Newmark Group is a Pan-African strategic communication and brand positioning firm. In this role, I managed a wide array of corporate events, multimedia communications projects, and strategic media relations campaigns in collaboration with a robust Public Relations team.My roles included;• Account Management: Successfully managed 30+ communication and event management client projects, such as high-level corporate conferences and seminars, stakeholder engagement activities, product launches, media round tables, impact site visits. • Multimedia Management; Spearheaded multimedia production projects by coordinating skilled videographers and photographers to develop service and product impact videos, documentaries, corporate, promotional, and event coverage videos. I also developed a network of video production suppliers across 10 African countries, optimizing project coordination remotely. • Relationship Management: Acted as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations and facilitating smooth workflows across diverse teams to achieve project goals.• Team Coordination: Collaborated closely with cross-functional teams, and ensured seamless project workflows and effective communication across teams, as well as client vision translation to them, including; creative design, media relations, social media, research & and insights, and the website development teamsKey clients included: The Global Centre on Adaptation, Mount Kenya Wildlife Conservancy (MKWC), Ashoka Africa and East Africa (partnered with Care Kenya), Novartis, AstraZeneca, Public Health Officers and Technicians Council, Ashoka EA, Janus Continental Group, Kenya Cardiac Society, Zipline, and the African Conservation Tillage Network.
