Manage, train, and direct a distribution sales force that increased market penetration with over 25% growth per year from 2010-2015. Work with house account, OEM’s directly collaborating with their sales and design engineering departments on training of our product solutions. Provide quotes/pricing structures and commitments at major OEM and distributor accounts. Travel to customer locations throughout the Northeast for training, problem-solving, and meetings with engineers to size and spec products. Managed an 18 state Northeastern territory and 4 accounts in Southeastern Canada. Doubled the sales in 5 years in the territory, and exceeded sales goal each year through new customer acquisition, better training and development on existing accounts, and new product development.  Took the territory from $2M to over $4M by focusing efforts on the distribution base with onsite training and accompanying their sales force in joint calls to coach further efforts. Distributor sales have tripled since 2010. Focused efforts at OEM accounts by training sales engineers, sales departments, and QA to also provide solutions to problems.  Spearheaded efforts to increase sales within a 5-year period, resulting in the biggest individual purchase order received to date of $380,000 from an OEM customer who booked $25,000 in 2010. In a 3 year period they generated $1M in new business.  Consistently hit sales goal numbers through the first 5 years by acquiring 1-2 new OEM’s and 4-5 other new customers per year using solution selling to solve issues caused by other suppliers. Train existing base of customers at least semi-annually and coach our distributor network to better use our products. Annually conducted Voice of the Customer surveys with the Top 10 customers within the territory, and selected new growth target accounts to identify potential new growth opportunities within the Regal Beloit range of products and for possible new product development.
