Having worked in the diplomacy for both the Swiss and the British government for more than 5 years, I have changed my career path to become a Sommelier. Following two years as a wine programme manager at Lore Brooklyn, I am now working as a Sommelier for Aldo Sohm Wine Bar in Manhattan. I have passed the Certified Exam of the Court of Master Sommeliers Americas as well as the WSET Level 3 in Wines. Working with others has been a key component of my previous work experiences and I relish in bridging interests and bring people together in order to achieve results and create added value. I developed a strong strategic & analytical way of thinking and have acquired a wide range of soft skills including excellent communication skills as well as managing staff and projects. In my previous positions, I was also able to demonstrate my ability to manage short-term deadlines, handle pressure while still seeing the big picture & ensuring long-term goals are met.
