1. ProductionContract Review / Capacity Planning• Ensure production departments have sufficient time to manufactureand deliver on time according to the customer’s request. Planning & Scheduling of Workload• Manage customer order / schedule requirements.• Pre-plan production and deploy a daily prioritised work schedule tothe shop floor with appropriate time deadline targets.• Set, monitor & review work load scheduleProduction Control• Monitor & review production progress against deadline targets toensure on time delivery.• Adjust the production schedule as required and communicate anychange to delivery date with the customer accordingly.• Monitor & review manufacturing operations to ensure correct qualitystandards.• Ensure that all production related activity is time and cost efficient /effective.• Ensure all plant and equipment is maintained & repaired.Quality Control• Ensure production/quality processes, equipment being used and theworking environments are all conducive to producing a high qualityproduct / service.• Monitor production activity to ensure that the appropriatemanufacturing methods are employed and that sufficient due care istaken in order to meet the customer’s build and quality specifications.• Ensure rejected product / non conformance is rectified as high priorityand that customers are kept informed accordingly.• Ensure the correct non conformance paperwork is raised andprocessed with every reject.2.
