The CARE model was developed around the use of conversations and actions to de-escalate situations before they potentially became issues. The model also made it very clear what the responsibility of a manager was versus the responsibility of HR. I facilitated over 50+ workshops on utilising this model with all leaders & people managers within the company and any new hire thereafter. ➢ Solely responsible for the design and facilitation of cultural workshops globally. In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, I came up with an idea and ran 25+ workshops with over 150 people from across the business. The purpose of the workshop was to give employees and their managers an avenue to speak openly about what communication, connection & culture meant to each of them now that we were all going to be working alone from behind a screen. I called this project “Life inside the square” and the feedback was brilliant from managers and employees during very difficult times. ➢ Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, I acted as the bridge between management and HR to all ten divisions (250 people globally) across the business. This involved liaising with divisional leaders (C-suite, SVP & VP level) on a regular basis to ensure consistency, accountability, and collaboration. On the back of this, I proudly designed and ran what we called “Culture Check-ins” every +4weeks with each divisional lead and their respective people managers. The main objective of a Culture Check-in was to create a safe and open environment for discussion and debate around all things culture, which was focused more on proactive and creative problem-solving than it was about "business as usual" matters which would have been dealt with in other meetings throughout the month. -
