I am currently a Lt. Police Investigator with UC Health Hospital Safety & Security.I have been a Police Officer for 40 years. My career started with the Springfield Township Police Department in 1981 as a police dispatcher. I was promoted to Patrol Officer in 1982 and then promoted to Detective in 1985. I remained in that position for about a year and wanted to go back to Road Patrol. In 1988 I was reassigned to Detective/ Investigator where I remained until my retirement in 2008. During my 21 years as Detective with Springfield Township Police Department I have investigated all types criminal activity in the Township and assited adjoing Police Agencies. These crimes ranged from simple misdemeanors to major cases , Homicides, Rapes, Burglary etc. In 1994 I was certified as a Voice Stress Analyst and administered Voice Stress Analysis for Criminal cases and also Pre-Employment. I have acquired a great ability on Interviewing and Interrogation, solving many major cases for Springfield Township Police and other surrounding agencies. Also included in my duties was to process any and all types of Crime Scenes, many times assisting other Agency's with thier Crime Scenes. I had great success in latent fingerprinting and evidence collection. After I retired in 2008 I was a Part Time Police Officer with the Mt. Healthy Police Department. Specialties included Interview and Interrogate Victims, Witnesses and Suspects.
