General Manager
Was responsible for managing all day-to-day operations one of the busiest Subway locations in the state of Ohio. The stores volume was nearly three times the national average of a standard location. I was specifically tasked with revitalizing the store after a steep decline during the global pandemic. As such I also had the unique challenge of not only increasing profits, providing stability, but dealing with the safety standards required of running food service in a pandemic. I had to take care of staffing, safety protocols, customer service, marketing, maintenance, inventory, banking, and much more.I received this job as a promotion from my prior experience running three locations in Bowling Green, Ohio for the company. It required me to really develop my time management skills as the store was consistently busy from open to close. I was able to grow and lead a very young loyal staff (Average age 17) for four years completely turning the store around. During the four year span of running the store, my staff and I were able to grow the already impressive sales over 80%. Making us one of the best Subways in the state. My proudest accomplishments during my time at this location was building a staff of mainly high school students who stayed at the job for multiple years, being recognized as a top customer preferred Subway location in Ohio, and breaking an over 15 year old sales record for the store location. Even more so being able to accomplish all of this during the heart of a global pandemic.I recently departed this job to create time to seek a new employment opportunity. The sense of pride and accomplishment I felt at Subway is unmatched. However, I feel I have accomplished all that I can there and would love to expand my horizons and help accomplish great things elsewhere.
