I am currently working as a merchandiser at Heidelberg Distributing in Cincinnati, Ohio. I am working hard and learning as much as I can so I can be promoted to a sales representative in the near future. In my current role, I am tasked with going into specific stores along my route to fill orders and check that everything is in order. When I make sure everything is in order it typically means I am rotating beer to make sure the most recent dates are on top. More importantly I check that point of sale advertising is in proper order. This entails keeping displays stacked neatly and replacing any damaged advertising. I have been able to develop relationships with store owners and employees within this role to create trust. This trust has led to being able to push certain products within accounts and add additional point of sale advertising where necessary.
