The Naval Dockyard of the Ministry Of Defence has its own maintenance facilities. At this moment the emphasis is on knowledge and coordination. Unique is the engineering capability of aproximatly 100 persons. Engineers ensure the right maintenance and modifications are done. They prepare overhauls technically and verify all work is done according the right quality. As we know which ship the navy sails (now and in the future) we are able to adapt the maintenance facilities optimal to the maintained vessels. During te realisation of new vessels we participate to bring in experiance of the current fleet and to make sure all maintenance can be done during the life cycle.

During this period I have managed a few overhouls of Naval Vessels, Examples are: - Large Overhoul Pelikaan at CDM Curacao (2 times) - Overhouls of Mine Hunting Vessels at Royal Naval Dockyard in Den Helder - Capability Upkeep Program of Mine Hunting Vessels
