Nimbus Boats is scandinavia´s leading manufacturer of leisure boats for cruising and sport. Turnover 2009 approximately EUR 70 million (600 million SEK).I was contracted to take leadership, together with the company CIO, to build a data warehouse solution and in this way create a tool that graphically could follow the plant production of boats. The thought was to view (per boat) how the plant managed to follow budget and forecast conditions of time and materials for each production station in the process. The BU had factories in Thailand, Belgum and Czech Republic. I was contracted to lead the controller function within the Barrier BU during the time the ordinary Controller was on maternity leave. This included co-coordinating and securing follow up and analysis in order to support the business decisions of the BU.
