I worked in the Strategic Accounts team providing a central contact point as well as dealergroup reporting mainly for our non-aligned distribution channels. I also worked with CFS GAM and our affiliated investments team to strengthen relationships between CFS and the research teams responsible for our strategic accounts.

The role was based around providing detailed product knowledge coupled with creating and tracking the various administration needs of both the Sydney and interstate offices. The role was largely unsupervised and unsupported so my ability to multi-task and manage my time efficiently was integral to my success. There is also a large engagement with advisers and employers directly to walk through specific adjustments and support using the online facilities making the role highly accountable to external clients. I worked at the Oaks 40+ hours a week during the majority of my degree. As a duty manager reporting directly to the licensee, I was responsible for overseeing 40 staff and 3 Managers. I was accountable for all activities within the Hotel including cellar management, stock rotation, gaming and functions coordination.
